Bala AI Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Bala AI covering accounts, acceptable use, payments, content and liability.

1. Acceptance of these terms
By opening or using Bala AI at bala-chat.com you agree to these Terms of Service. If any part is unacceptable to you, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and age
Bala AI is available only to individuals aged 18 or older who have the legal capacity to enter an agreement. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Description of the service
Bala AI provides entertainment-oriented conversation with fictional companion characters. The service is offered for personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
4. Fictional nature of companions
All companions are invented characters. They are not real people, not representatives of the operator, and nothing said within a conversation should be treated as advice from a person.
5. No professional advice
Nothing generated by a companion constitutes medical, legal, psychological, financial or other professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.
6. Account registration
You may need an account to use certain features. Information you supply during registration must be accurate and kept current.
7. Account security
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password private and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
8. One account per person
Accounts are personal. Sharing, selling, renting or transferring an account to another person is not permitted.
9. Acceptable use
Use Bala AI lawfully and respectfully. Do not use it to harass others, break the law, or attempt anything that would harm the service or its members.
10. Prohibited content
Do not submit content involving minors, non-consensual scenarios, threats, terrorism, trafficking, or any other material prohibited by applicable law.
11. No scraping or automation
Automated collection, scraping, crawling, bulk downloading or the use of bots against the service is not allowed without written permission.
12. No reverse engineering
You may not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to derive the underlying components of the service.
13. Interference with the service
Attempts to overload, disrupt, probe or bypass any security measure of the service are strictly forbidden.
14. Your content
You keep ownership of the messages you write. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process and display that content in order to operate the service for you.
15. Our intellectual property
The Bala AI name, design, text, imagery, characters and software are protected. You may not copy or reuse them beyond ordinary personal viewing.
16. Generated content
Content produced automatically during a conversation is provided as-is. It may be inaccurate, inconsistent or unexpected, and should be treated as entertainment.
17. Feedback
If you send suggestions we may use them freely to improve the service, with no obligation and no compensation.
18. Free and paid features
Some features may be free while others require payment. The scope of each is shown before you commit to anything.
19. Payments and billing
Where charges apply, they are presented clearly before purchase. Payments are processed by third-party providers subject to their own terms.
20. Subscriptions and renewal
Subscription plans, where offered, may renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time before the next renewal date.
21. Refunds
Refund eligibility follows the policy shown at the point of purchase and any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
22. Third-party services
The service may rely on or link to third-party platforms. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
23. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but cannot guarantee it. Maintenance, updates and factors beyond our control may cause interruptions.
24. Changes to the service
Features may be added, altered or withdrawn as the product develops. We will avoid changes that remove core value without notice where practical.
25. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or creates risk for the service or other members.

28. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
29. Indemnity
You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.
30. Privacy
Use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled.
31. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of establishment. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts there, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
32. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised. Continued use after a revision takes effect means you accept the updated version, and the date at the top shows when it changed.
33. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Together with the Privacy Policy these terms form the whole agreement between you and us.
